Huffington Post, April 19, 2010 - Steve Culbertson's posting in the Huffington Post about Global Youth Service Day!

St. Norbert Times
, April 19, 2010 - A short article on bringing service-learning to the classroom.

IU News Room, April 15, 2010 - Indiana University Bloomington will hold its Summer Service-Learning Institute on May 12-14. This is a great opportunity for the faculty and community groups on campus to come together to discuss service-learning. Other colleges and universities could benefit from this.

As a side note, Nelda Brown and I attended the National AfterSchool Association Convention this week, and there were so many similarities to the service-learning field, including our struggles and strengths. It should be interesting, as we go forward, to see where we will be able to fold in the afterschool work into service-learning and vice versa.
