Even though two big days of service (Earth Day and Global Youth Service Day) are over for another year, I hope we will continue to receive service-learning news stories from around the country!

PR Newswire, April 26, 2010 - The Environmental Charter High School in Lawndale, CA, was recently named one of six finalists in President Obama's 'Race to the Top' High School Commencement Challenge. The school is known for their Green Ambassadors program, which has been honored with the California Service-Learning Leader Award. Voting begins today!

Delmarva Now, April 25, 2010 - Bennett Middle School ties together Earth Day and Arbor Day celebrations.

Pantagraph.com, April 23, 2010 - Students in McLean County (IL) were honored at the county's Global Youth Service Day celebrations at Illinois State University.
