Kentucky Post, August 12, 2009 - On August 5-6, Kentucky Campus Compact, in partnership with Louisiana Campus Compact, held a train-the-trainer service-learning institute for higher education. It's always great to see good training and exposure for service-learning in higher ed. Click here to read the article.

Baltimore Sun, August 12, 2009 - Eunice Kennedy Shriver is memorialized in this Baltimore Sun letter. The writer states, that he is "proud to continue through the many service-learning programs of the Shriver Center at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Mrs. Shriver showed us that playing together leads to understanding each other, and that understanding is the cornerstone of a more just, happy and peaceful world."

The Tribune Star, August 11, 2009 - Eunice Kennedy Shriver's passing was a sad day for many people, especially those in the service field. This article pays tribute to Shriver.
